Shallow Water Anchor Lights for Power Pole, Minn Kota Raptor, and Minn Kota Talon
Every shallow water anchor sits the boat low to the water at anchor. The factory transom anchor light most boats are wired for can be hidden, obscured, or simply not bright enough once the anchor is down. A dedicated, USCG compliant anchor light mounted on top of the shallow water anchor is the right answer. This collection is built for exactly that.
If you run a Power Pole, a Minn Kota Raptor, or a Minn Kota Talon, the right light is here. Every product in this collection is built from 5052 marine grade aluminum, powder coated, and engineered to be a true universal fit. No drilling, no adapters, no guesswork.

How to choose the right shallow water anchor light
Start with the anchor brand. Power Pole, Raptor, and Talon mount differently and the right cap and fit matter. Once you know the brand, decide if you also want a work light for tying rigs, unhooking fish, and running at the bow at night. The standard Anchor Light handles USCG compliance. The Ultimate Anchor Light adds a Plash 20W IP69K LED for deck illumination. Both share the same install pattern and the same warranty backing.
If you already run a Mealey Marine Anchor Light and want to add the work light later, the Ultimate Light Upgrade Kit is built for exactly that.
Frequently asked questions
Are these anchor lights USCG compliant?
Yes. Every anchor light in this collection meets USCG 2 nautical mile visibility and ABYC A-16. Legal for night anchoring.
Do they fit all Power Pole, Raptor, and Talon models?
Yes. Power Pole Pro Series, Pro II, Blade, Sportsman, and Sportsman II. Minn Kota Raptor 8 and 10. Minn Kota Talon 8, 10, 12, and 15 BT including work light and non work light versions.
Why do I need a separate anchor light if my Raptor or Talon has a built in work light?
The factory integrated work light on those anchors is not a USCG anchor light. It does not meet the 2 nautical mile visibility requirement and it does not meet ABYC A-16. A separate, dedicated anchor light is required for legal night anchoring.
How hard is the install?
Most anglers install in under 30 minutes. The light comes with 12 feet of marine grade wire and a waterproof heat shrink step down butt connector. Wire it into your existing transom anchor light circuit. No drilling required.
Where do these ship from?
All Mealey Marine anchor lights are built, assembled, and shipped from the United States.
