COMPATIBILITY
Designed for 12-volt lithium batteries. The 14.6-volt output is correct for lithium chemistry. Standard lead-acid or AGM chargers typically output 13.8 to 14.4 volts, which will undercharge most lithium batteries and prevent a full charge cycle. Using an SLA or AGM charger on a lithium battery can leave capacity on the table and confuse the battery management system. Using a lithium charger on a lead-acid battery can overcharge and damage it. They are not interchangeable.
